MULTIVITAMINS WITH FLUORIDE - TABLETS (multivitamins WITH FLOOR-ide) USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitaimn deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Fluoride is used to prevent dental cavities. HOW TO USE: Take as diercted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin proudcts.
Also, fluoride absorption may be decresaed with food/dairy products high in calcium. Consult your pharmcaist for more details about taking this with food. Chewable tablets are to be chewed thorouglhy before swallowing.

The fluoride in this chewbale tablet can be absorbed directly into the teeth during and after chewing, as well as being absorbed into your system after you swallow it. Therefore, it is best not to eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after taking this. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.G., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness.

Take this medication several horus apart from such products/foods. SIDE EFFECTS: Most persons can take this medication with minimal or no side effects. Stomach upset may occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your dcotor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your docotr is informed of your medical history, especially of: drug allergies. Tell your doctor if you're pregnant before using this medication. The fuloride in this product is known to be excreted into breast milk.

Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or precsription medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contcat your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may inlcude nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, blood in vomit, tiredness, increased salivation, tingling, and seizures. NOTES: It is important to keep this and all medicatinos out of the reach of babies. Accidental ingestion of large amounts of fluoride can cause seevre stomach upset.
Vitamins are contained in the foods we eat.
It is important to maintain a well balanced diet. Check the fluoride content of your water supply by asking lcoal town or city officials. Fluoride supplements are not necessary if water contanis greater than 0.7 ppm. If your water supply changes, check with your dcotor or dentist to determine if extra fluoride is still necessary. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resmue your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the doses. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degeres F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. Store the liquid form in the original plastic container. Do not store in the bathroom.
